Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas within our establishment. This position requires a commitment to providing excellent service and ensuring that every guest has a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Duties

  • Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the highest standards.
  • Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
  • Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens in guest rooms.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
  • Follow established procedures for cleaning rooms efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organisation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests and colleagues.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
