Overview
The Lakes by Yoo is exclusive private development, spread across 850 acres of woodland, meadows & lakes. Established for over 15 years, we build unique, luxury lakefront and woodland second homes. The estate also includes the Award-winning Orchard Spa, and numerous clubhouse buildings.

The Estate is fully serviced with 24hr security, Concierge and Guest Services team to help with all resident and guest requests. The Estate is home to several communal spaces and facilities including a full-service spa and gym, tennis courts, cricket and golf nets, a bird hide, kids club house, a lake, bar and kitchen restaurant, and Tower including zip wire, climbing wall, power fan and leap of faith.

A range of activities such as kayaking, yoga, fishing, bushcraft, and kids clubs plus many more are available to all residents and guests on a daily basis.

Core Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

To assist the Guest Services Team with the following tasks:

  • Performing front of house duties for a hospitality operation to include check-in, check-out, and switchboard.
  • Action guest and rental resident requests.
  • Assist with guest and rental resident deliveries.
  • Taking reservations, for lettings on Opera and activities on Trybe.
  • Resolving guests’ maintenance issues along with complaints.
  • Ensuring that all rental properties are kept it good condition and any damages are report to both the head of guest services and maintenance assistant.
  • Procuring and replacing property inventory where appropriate.
  • Moving guests around the estate as the business requires.
  • Assisting Housekeeping with linen deliveries when required.
  • Pre-arriving and post-checking of rental properties.
  • Support concierge team with cleaning of fleet vehicles in REML and ensuring that they are presentable at all times.
  • Assisting the Activities team where needed, in case of short staffing levels if trained and certified.
  • Conduct and co ordinate cabin, apartment and house recorded inspections pre and post stay and communicate with head of guest services, owner/designer on any damage or content replacement required
  • Manage the release of security deposits being returned to guests.
  • Ensure any maintenance issues with properties are resolved before the properties are let for sale.
  • Maintain stock levels and procurement for property related inventory replacements as directed by head of guest services to cover all cabins, apartments, manor house and reserve.
  • Ensure all relevant estate and owners property information is up to date and communicated effectively with owners.
  • Collate positive and negative feedback to Head of Guest Services to improve the customer experience.
  • Supporting concierge with moving equipment around the resort.
  • Supporting events team with guest experience and transportation of guests around the resort.
  • Conduct guest pre arrival sales calls
  • Conduct activities sales calls.

What we are looking for in you

  • Friendly, sociable personalities that are able to interact with anyone.
  • Proactive hands-on individuals who are not afraid to get involved.
  • Previous hospitality experience.
  • Holder of a Full Driving License.
  • Please note that to be eligible for this position you must be legally able to live and work in the United Kingdom.
