About Us

Situated right on the seafront, our hotel offers stunning coastal views, warm hospitality, and a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. We welcome guests from around the world who come to enjoy the shoreline, local attractions, and exceptional service. We’re now seeking an experienced Head Receptionist to lead our front‑of‑house team and help shape unforgettable guest experiences.

The Role

As Head Receptionist, you’ll be the welcoming face of the hotel, ensuring every guest’s stay begins and ends with excellence. You’ll oversee the reception team, manage daily operations, and maintain the smooth running of a busy front desk in a vibrant coastal setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and motivate the reception team
  • Oversee check‑ins, check‑outs, and reservation processes
  • Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism
  • Maintain high standards of service and presentation
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams
  • Ensure accurate record‑keeping and financial transactions
  • Train new team members and support ongoing staff development
  • Uphold a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reflects our seafront location

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings confidence, warmth, and leadership to the role. You should have:

  • Previous hotel reception or front‑of‑house supervisory experience
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A calm, professional manner in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities
  • A passion for delivering outstanding guest service
  • Experience with hotel booking systems (PMS knowledge desirable)
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
