Job Summary

We are a growing local domestic cleaning business based in St Albans and Harpenden. We are looking for a reliable, detail-focused Cleaner to join our team and help deliver high-quality residential cleaning for regular clients.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently, and wants consistent, local work with good pay. Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out high-standard domestic cleaning in private homes
  • Tasks include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface cleaning
  • Clean and sanitise bathrooms and kitchens thoroughly
  • Ensure all rooms are left clean, tidy, and presentable
  • Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly
  • Maintain a professional and friendly attitude in clients’ homes
  • Report any issues or damages promptly

Requirements

  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
  • Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Good communication skills
  • Willing to travel locally around St Albans / Harpenden with own transport
  • Previous domestic cleaning experience is a bonus but not required
