Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in residential settings, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for clients. This role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional cleaning services with a focus on customer satisfaction and attention to detail. Prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene throughout all cleaning tasks
  • Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
  • Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning as needed
  • Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure effective results
  • Assist with basic cooking tasks if required by clients
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously
  • Manage janitorial duties including trash removal, surface disinfection, and restocking supplies
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times

Requirements

  • Prior experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is advantageous
  • Skills in floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation, and laundry are preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently within scheduled timeframes
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation is preferred for timely access to client locations
  • Willingness to learn new skills related to housecleaning management and specialized cleaning techniques
