Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated housekeeping supervisor to join our team at The Bedford Swan Hotel has recently opened our extension of 24 bedrooms giving us a total of 137 rooms.

In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our hotel, ensuring that every guest enjoys a comfortable and welcoming environment, whilst helping the Housekeeping Manager lead a team of dedicated staff, whilst checking bedrooms to ensure they are ready for guest arrival.

This is a 32 hour contracted position depending on the needs of the business. Shift times and days will vary each week and will include weekends.

Shifts hours are usually between the hours of 7am and 4.30pm.

Your main responsibilities will be the checking rooms, cleaning of bedrooms, corridors and public areas to ensure hotel quality standards are maintained whilst achieving maximum guest satisfaction.

Successful candidates must be able to work on own initiative as well as being able to work well in a team.

THE PERSON:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping supervisory or team leader role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
