Mobile Cleaning Supervisor – This is to cover all East and West Sussex

Salary: £28,288.00 per year + benefits
Hours: 40 per week (Mon–Fri, 08:00–17:00)
Location: Southern Water sites, Sussex and nearby areas


We are looking for a Mobile Cleaning Supervisor to join Equans on our Southern Water contracts. This is a full-time, permanent job. You will get a company van, a good salary, and benefits.


As a Mobile Cleaning Supervisor, you will manage cleaning teams across different sites. You will make sure high standards are kept and step in with hands-on cleaning when needed.


Main duties:

  • Supervise and support cleaning teams
  • Plan rotas and arrange cover for sickness or holidays
  • Check standards and complete regular site inspections
  • Train new staff and keep records up to date
  • Order and manage cleaning stock and equipment
  • Deal with issues quickly and professionally
  • Carry out cleaning tasks yourself when needed

What we need from you:

  • Experience supervising cleaning teams (5 years or more is ideal)
  • Good people skills – able to lead and motivate staff
  • Confident using computers (Microsoft Office, emails, data entry)
  • Able to plan work and keep to budgets
  • Willing to be hands-on and set a good example
