Job Description
The Holiday Inn Express - London Ealing Hotel is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the facilities and grounds of our London location, while also assisting with the operations of the business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of building and grounds
- Perform maintenance on all equipment including but not limited to: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance
- Respond to emergency calls from property staff or residents as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Sr. Manager
Experience:
- Previous experience in facility maintenance preferred but not required
- Experience with plumbing and electrical work a plus but not required
- Experience with HVAC a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team a plus but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at time necessary
- Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout the year (heat and cold)
This position requires a person who is self-motivated and has the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. The successful candidate must be organized and have good attention to detail. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
