Kitchen Assistant– Shalom Hot Bagels (Gants Hill)

Shalom Hot Bagels is a family-owned group of delis and bakeries across London. Our Gants Hill branch is looking for an Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly production kitchen team for an immediate start.

About the role:
You will support the chef and work independently when required. Tasks include preparing salads, fish dishes, meat dishes, and other deli items for our shop and wholesale customers as well as cleaning and washing up.

What we’re looking for:

• 1–2 years of relevant kitchen experience (training provided)
• Ability to work independently when needed
• Weekend availability
• Ability to start early in the morning
• Positive attitude and willingness to grow with the company

Hours:

• Full-time: 32-35 hours per week over 4 days
• Daytime shifts only — evenings free

Pay: £12.50–£13.00 per hour
Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: In person (Gants Hill)
