Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Indian Curry Chef with experience in preparing authentic Indian curries and traditional dishes. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and regional cuisines, ensuring high-quality food and consistent flavor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian curries (vegetarian and non-vegetarian)
  • Create authentic dishes using traditional Indian spices and methods
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
  • Follow food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Manage ingredient preparation, portion control, and waste reduction
  • Assist in menu planning and daily specials when required
  • Work efficiently during peak service hours
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff if needed

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Indian Curry Chef or similar role for Atlest 3 year or over.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, spices, and cooking techniques
  • Ability to prepare curries from scratch (gravy bases, masalas, tempering)
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills
  • Culinary qualification or relevant training (preferred but not mandatory)

Working Conditions

  • Flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Standing for long hours and handling hot equipment
