About The Role

Bank Pharmacist – Independent Elective Surgery Hospital

We are seeking a motivated Bank Pharmacist to join our team at a specialist independent hospital focused on high-quality elective procedures.

Our hospital provides a range of planned surgical services including orthopaedics (arthroplasty surgery), hand, shoulder and foot surgery, cataract surgery, and endoscopy. Working closely with surgeons, nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will support the safe and effective use of medicines across the hospital.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical pharmacy support for elective surgical patients
  • Screen and dispense medications safely and efficiently
  • Support medicines optimisation and governance
  • Work collaboratively with clinical teams across theatre, day surgery, ward and outpatient areas

What we’ll look for in you

Requirements:
  • Registered Pharmacist with the GPhC
  • Hospital or clinical pharmacy experience required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Ability to work flexibly on a bank basis

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern elective surgical environment with a supportive team and varied caseload.

Pay: £28.02 hourly rate of pay
