We’re a local family run flooring company. Our environment is fast with constant change where no two days are the same. We’re now looking for a proactive, reliable Operations Coordinator to work directly with management, helping to keep the business running smoothly and efficiently day to day.

The Role

This is a varied and practical role for someone who enjoys taking ownership and solving problems. You’ll play a key part in managing installers diaries, booking appointments, checking our fits are completed. speaking to customers, dealing with aftercare dealing with cancellations and while also handling general coordination tasks across the business. You’ll report directly to the Branch Manager and be trusted to keep things moving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate all installations accurately
  • Maintain a clear 7–14 day forward install schedule
  • Confirm job details with customers and installers
  • Ensure installers have full, correct information before each job
  • Track job completion and log any issues immediately
  • Arrange and monitor re-visits and remedial works
  • Handle installation-related customer queries professionally
  • Proactively reduce problems and cancellations
  • Keep all job records and systems up to date
  • Provide a clear weekly update on installs and open issues

About You

- Organised, practical, and proactive

- Able to handle responsibility and work independently

- Confident speaking to suppliers, customers and staff

- Experienced in operations, retail, and similar areas

- Comfortable working in a small business environment

- A problem-solver who enjoys variety and getting things done
