Senior Lighting Designer – Major Projects

Remote

£40-£45k DOE + Benefits & Career Progression

Are you an experienced Lighting Designer with a passion for delivering large-scale, high spec projects?

Are you proficient in Relux and Dialux software?

Interested in working for a changing business, building a team for the future?

This is a great opportunity to work for a leading lighting business and play a key role in delivering complex commercial and industrial lighting solutions.

Working closely with Trade, Project and Specification teams, you will be responsible for:

  • Working across multiple sectors including hospitality, healthcare, education, new-build housing, industrial estates and office fit-out projects
  • Liaise closely with Sales Engineers, project stakeholders and internal teams to ensure technical integrity, progress updates and successful delivery
  • Produce complex lighting calculations, simulations and designs in line with applicable standards, IOP guidance and compliance requirements
  • Minimise revision cycles by gathering full briefing information and proactively questioning assumptions
  • Balance multiple concurrent projects, working to client and internal deadlines
  • Manage designs and project updates using Salesforce

About You:

  • Proven experience in large-scale commercial or industrial lighting design
  • Proficient in Relux and Dialux
  • Strong planning, simulation and calculation capability
  • Excellent communicator who enjoys fast pace, problem solving and collaboration
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and handle pressure
