Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Kitchen & Bathroom Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for design, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on bespoke projects, helping clients realise their vision while providing exceptional customer service. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchens & bathrooms, utilising various design software and engaging with clients throughout the process.

Duties

  • Develop customised kitchen designs using software such as Articad , ensuring they meet client specifications and preferences.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget, offering expert advice on layout, colour schemes, materials, and appliances.
  • Present design proposals to clients clearly and confidently, highlighting features and benefits to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Upsell additional products or services by identifying client needs and presenting suitable options to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Organise project timelines, coordinate with suppliers and contractors, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain organised records of client interactions, design files, and project progress for efficient workflow management.
  • Stay informed about current trends in kitchen design, merchandising techniques, and new product offerings to provide innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Articad software is essential for creating detailed 3D visualisations.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic maths skills for accurate measurements, calculations, and budgeting purposes.
  • Experience in upselling products or services within a retail or design environment is desirable.
  • Knowledge of merchandising principles to effectively showcase products and optimise sales displays.
  • Organisational skills combined with attention to detail are vital for maintaining accurate records and delivering high-quality designs. This position offers an engaging environment where creativity meets technical expertise, allowing you to make a tangible impact on clients’ homes while developing your professional skills within the interior design industry.

Pay: £25,420.00-£37,476.92 per year
