Full job description

About Us

MSL Global is a fast-paced, experiential agency. We deliver world-class live events, brand activations, and specialised automotive operations for some of the biggest global brands. We are expanding rapidly, and we are looking for a candidate-focused recruiter to join our growing People & Culture team. We work hard, we have fun, and we are completely passionate about the events industry and the people in it!

The Opportunity

As our business continues to scale, our hiring volume is growing. Working directly alongside our HR Advisor, this is a hands-on, foundational recruitment role focused on running our day-to-day hiring operations.

This position is a perfect match for someone who understands the fast-paced nature of agency life, ideally from an events background, and genuinely loves talking to candidates and continuous networking. You will split your time between administrative tracking, proactive headhunting, and building vibrant pools of talent, ensuring every applicant enjoys a positive experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with different internal hiring managers to truly understand their roles and required skills.
  • You will proactively find the best talent by utilising job boards, screening CVs, and finding innovative new areas to advertise to reduce our time-to-hire.
  • Continuously grow your network and build a pipeline of trusted professionals and freelancers, ensuring we have an active pool of talent ready to step in as projects land.
  • Keep our recruitment materials and job adverts fresh and up-to-date so our content perfectly reflects our unique workplace culture.
  • Act as the professional, welcoming face of the company. You will manage candidate pipelines, organise interview schedules, physically set up meeting rooms for interviews, and join hiring managers in the interview room, as and when needed.
  • Work with our HR Advisor. Once you have successfully managed a candidate to the offer stage and completed initial right-to-work details, you’ll pass over so HR can handle contracts and onboarding.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Solid foundational experience in a recruitment environment / role. An events background is highly desirable, and an understanding of fast-paced agency life is a must.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and highly skilled in using job boards, screening CVs, continuous networking, and building long-term talent pools.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented. You must be comfortable managing recruitment databases, tracking correspondence, and handling essential candidate paperwork behind the scenes.
  • You absolutely love people. You have an exceptional phone manner, a professional approach when dealing with differing hiring managers, and a naturally proactive mindset.
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats, from high-level headhunting on LinkedIn to setting up interview rooms on-site.

What’s In It For You?

  • A brilliant opportunity to hone your in-house recruitment skills and grow your career alongside a scaling business.
  • A balanced hybrid flexible working model (mix of home and our Alton office, with 3 days minimum in the office).
  • A vibrant, creative, and highly supportive team culture working with exciting global brands.

This role provides an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about recruitment and eager to contribute their skills within a supportive team environment.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Casual dress
  • Company events
  • Company pension
  • Free parking
  • On-site parking
  • Referral programme
  • Work from home
