Full job description

Technical Operations Coordinator

At Airwave, we deliver high-quality connectivity and technical solutions for our customers. We’re passionate about teamwork, clear communication, and getting things right the first time — and we’re looking for a Technical Operations Coordinator to support our growing operations team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on coordination role where you’ll support technical projects from planning through to delivery. You’ll work closely with internal teams, customers, and third-party suppliers to make sure deployments run smoothly and efficiently.

This role is ideal if you’re organised, technically minded, and enjoy being the link between people, systems, and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate technical projects across Operations, Sales, and Project teams
  • Join pre-deployment technical calls with customers and suppliers
  • Check technical details to ensure right-first-time delivery
  • Track timelines, documentation, and equipment readiness
  • Support deployment engineers by clarifying technical scope
  • Coordinate provisioning and assist with deployment tasks
  • Manage and escalate technical issues where needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with Windows and Microsoft 365
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Customer-focused and calm under pressure
  • Must be able to drive and have daily access to a vehicle

Desirable but not essential:

  • Basic networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP)
  • ITIL awareness or technical support experience

What You’ll Get

  • 22 days holiday plus bank holidays

(3 days used during Christmas shutdown)

  • Pension: 5% employee / 3% employer
  • Training and development opportunities
  • Supportive, collaborative working environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£31,800.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Company pension
  • On-site parking

Work Location: In person
