Key Responsibilities:

IT Support Administrator

  • Support maintenance of internal systems, student records and online databases.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining content for the website, social media, and digital platforms.
  • Support SEO updates, keyword research, and fixing minor website errors or formatting issues.
  • Assist with editing and uploading videos, graphic designs and digital materials.
  • Assist in planning, developing and managing social media posts across platforms.
  • Support email marketing campaigns and communication with prospective students.
  • Help develop content strategies and publish blogs, images, and short-form video content.
  • Contribute to PPC campaign setup (Google Ads, Meta Ads) under guidance.
  • Identify new digital trends, tools, and creative ideas to boost student recruitment.

Administrative Duties

  • Provide front-desk support: answering calls, greeting visitors, responding to student/staff enquiries.
  • Manage the college inbox, responding to emails professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain accurate student and staff records, registers, and documentation.
  • Support the Principal with diary management, scheduling and meeting preparation.
  • Prepare documents, letters, reports, and internal communications.
  • Assist with minute-taking, compiling agendas and following up on actions.
  • Support student admissions and onboarding processes.
  • Liaise with external partners, awarding bodies, councils and recruitment agents.
  • Help organise open days, workshops and college events.
  • Handle confidential data securely and in accordance with college policies.
  • Provide general office support, including filing, printing, photocopying and data entry.

Key Skills & Personal Attributes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills.
  • Confident working independently and managing workload.
  • Good understanding of social media platforms and digital tools.
  • Basic IT troubleshooting skills and confidence using Microsoft Office.
  • Creative mindset with interest in content creation and marketing.
  • Ability to explain digital/technical concepts clearly to non-technical staff.
  • High level of professionalism and customer service.
  • Able to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.

Desirable Technical Skills (training can be provided)

  • Basic knowledge of SEO/Google Analytics.
  • Experience with website content management systems (WordPress or similar).
  • Understanding of HTML or JavaScript basics.
  • Video/photo editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools etc.).
  • Experience running social media pages or digital campaigns.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or education databases.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelors in IT, Media, Business, or Digital Marketing (or equivalent).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and online systems.

Desirable:

  • 12-16 months experience in admin, IT support or digital marketing.
