Summary

We are hiring a Junior Technical Support Analyst to join our IT and technical support team in Buckinghamshire, Haddenham Business Park. This role is ideal for candidates looking to start or develop a career in technical support, IT support, or cloud support, with exposure to Microsoft Azure and modern technical systems.

This is not a software developer role. The position focuses on technical support, troubleshooting, system analysis, and cloud environment support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for internal systems and platforms
  • Manage and resolve support tickets using Azure DevOps or similar ticketing systems
  • Troubleshoot system issues related to configuration, deployments, environments, and access
  • Perform initial investigation and document technical findings before escalation
  • Support Azure cloud environments, including configuration checks and access issues
  • Assist with system analysis using logs, monitoring tools, and system metrics
  • Maintain technical documentation and support infrastructure diagrams
  • Work closely with development, infrastructure, and support teams

Required Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (academic, personal projects, or work experience)
  • Experience or working knowledge of Azure DevOps, ITSM tools, or ticketing systems
  • Basic understanding of IT systems, cloud platforms, and application environments
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyse technical issues
  • Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills

Desirable Skills

  • Basic knowledge of SQL databases or relational data concepts
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, IP, firewalls)
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure or Azure services
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools
  • Basic scripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
