Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Computer Technician to join our technical support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of computer hardware and networking systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong technical background to apply their skills in a dynamic environment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our IT infrastructure.

Duties

  • Diagnose and repair computer hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices
  • Perform routine maintenance on computer systems to ensure smooth operation
  • Utilise schematics and technical documentation to identify faults and implement solutions
  • Install, configure, and upgrade hardware components as required
  • Conduct network troubleshooting to resolve connectivity issues and optimise performance
  • Use hand tools for equipment repair and assembly tasks
  • Assist with the setup of new equipment and system upgrades
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and system configurations
  • Provide technical support to end-users both remotely and on-site

Requirements
