Six Sigma Production Process Engineer – Gloucestershire

Your role as a Six Sigma Production Process Engineer based in Gloucestershirewill involve:
Studying and optimising all unit operations, stock preparation, resin production, drying, saturating, corrugating, winding, slitting, etc.
Participating and assisting in design of all process related capital projects.
Development of Control Plans that result in higher CpK values.
Resolving customer complaints related to process issues.
Identifying required capital needs for process improvements, aiding in their design, preparing Plant Orders, and coordinating their start-up.
Product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
Actively involved in lean projects as a project leader/facilitator.
Involved in product specifications, purchasing of equipment, materials, or parts and evaluating products according to specifications and quality standards.
Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.

To apply for the role of Six Sigma Production Process Engineeryou will have the following:
BSc in one of the following disciplines: Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental, Civil, or Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Paper Science.
Ideally 3-5 years related experience in paper or textile manufacturing and/or training in a process manufacturing environment; direct knowledge and/or experience in flow driven continuous process.
Six Sigma Green Belt /Black Belt, or equivalent skills and knowledge.
Flexible on travelling.
