Full job description

Join our dynamic team as a key player in managing our financial operations. As an Account Administrator, you'll be responsible for accurate and efficient handling of accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and data management using Xero and other accounting tools.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Financial Transactions: Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Data Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and other financial data to maintain accurate records.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare clear and concise reports and summaries for management review.
  • Budget Support: Assist in budget preparation, tracking, and reporting.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the accounting team.
  • Software Proficiency: Effectively utilise accounting software to manage financial data with precision.

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in accounting or a similar role, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial principles.
  • Software Expertise: Proficiency with Xero and other accounting software, showcasing your technical skills.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to financial record-keeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Organisation: Excellent organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.
  • AAT Qualification (Preferred): A formal accounting qualification like AAT is a plus, but not a requirement.
