The focus of the Account Executive role is to identify opportunities by working qualifying leads and successfully onboarding our new customers through the early part of their journey with Supacolour.

The Accounts Executives responsibilities include growing the company's revenue by building relationships early and identifying customers’ needs so that we can build them into long-term profitable relationships.

An Account Executive has a hunter’s mentality. You should be able to analyze data and review sales statistics to improve sales strategies. You also need to be able to work as part of a team. This role works with the Account Manager to ensure that the customers we bring on remain engaged and loyal Supacolor customers.

This position may require occasional travel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Being ‘Supa’ awesome for our customers and delighting them every time.
  • Run the Supacolor sales process
  • Identify, contact, qualify, research customers
  • Present customers solutions
  • Monitor deals won or lost.
  • Present products to prospective customers
  • Quickly connect, develop rapport and building strong relationships with potential customers.
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
  • Remain in regular contact with potential customers to understand and meet their needs
  • Maintain customer’s satisfaction and Supacolor’s reputation
  • Negotiate agreements
  • Track and report daily sales activities using CRM
  • Take every opportunity to live to the Supacolor purpose to help people grow, including our customers through education on products, process, and systems.
  • Performing other work-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive, or similar sales/customer service role
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (Hubspot) is a plus
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • A business acumen
  • Enthusiastic and passionate
  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability in problem solving, negotiation, organization, and multitasking
  • The willingness to jump in and help where necessary.
  • Tech Savvy on social platforms and applications such as Front & Monday
  • Adobe Illustration Preferred not required
  • Understanding of art and design concepts (sizing, file type, pantone colors)
