Position Overview

As an Accounts Technician, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our directors with both statutory and non-statutory accounts, VAT, Tax Returns, and other tax-related matters. Working within our close-knit team, you'll have the opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to our clients' success. We embrace technology and you'll be supporting our clients to digitise their records and transition to cloud-based software.

Requirements:

AAT level 2 or higher

Minimum of 2-3 years experience within the accountancy sector

Proficiency in using accountancy software – to include at least one of the following: Quickbooks, Xero, Freeagent, Sage One

Knowledge of at least the basics of VAT

You will have a great work ethic, first class time management skills and a good attention to detail.

This role will involve interaction with clients and you should be a confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with both clients and the team.

This is a locally office based position.

Salary in the range of £25,000 - £32,000 subject to experience and ability

Annual Training Budget of £250 per employee

Summer months – finish early on a Friday
