B-Skill is excited to share this amazing opportunity to work with Durham Tees Care in Gateshead as a Business Administration Apprentice.
Full apprenticeship and role training will be provided for this exciting position, working with a small but supportive team you will work towards a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship qualification.
What you will do in your working day
The duties and responsibilities to be undertaken may include any or all the items in the following list.
Duties of the post:
- Recruitment
- Quality assurance, you will support with monitoring and evaluating the service to make sure that standards are being met
- Receiving calls from/calling Customers
- Establishing Relationships with Customers
- Taking messages on phone
- Progressing paperwork and filing digital and physical
- Liaising with office team
This list is not exhaustive, and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the Management Team which are relevant to your role within the company to meet the overall business needs. The role will evolve as time and duties progress.
Skills and Experience
- Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office and willing to learn systems
- Previous experience in admin/customer service experience would be advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills
- Knowledge of care sector would be advantageous
- The ideal candidate would be a team player with a positive outlook with fantastic communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements of the Role
- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4+ (C+)) Essential
- GCSE or equivalent maths (Grade 4+ (C+)) Essential
- You will need to pass a DBS check if successful
- Driving licence would be beneficial but not essential
Job Type: Apprenticeship
Pay: £6.40 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Countess Wear, NE8 3AH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (required)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
