Full job description

This Isn’t Just an Apprenticeship. It’s the Start of Your Career.

You might be leaving college. You might be ready for something more structured. Or you might already be working and thinking “there must be a better way to learn, earn, and build a proper future.”

At OLS Ltd, we don’t do box‑ticking apprenticeships.

We’re an award-winning family‑run business with an international reputation, and we invest in people who want to learn properly, take responsibility, and grow into trusted professionals — not just pass exams.

If you’re organised, switched on, reliable, and want to be part of a real team where your contribution genuinely matters, this could be the opportunity that sets you up for the long term.

The Role: Level 3 Apprentice – Central Administrator

As a Level 3 Central Administrator Apprentice, you’ll be right at the heart of the business. This isn’t tea‑making or shadowing forever — you’ll be doing real work, learning real skills, and building confidence from day one.

You’ll be supported through your apprenticeship while gaining hands‑on experience in how a successful business actually operates.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting day‑to‑day office and administration activities
  • Managing data, documents, and internal systems accurately
  • Communicating professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
  • Helping keep processes organised, efficient, and on track
  • Learning how different parts of the business work together
  • Developing skills in organisation, communication, and accountability

As your confidence grows, so will your responsibility.

Why This Apprenticeship Is Different

We treat apprentices as future professionals, not temporary extras.

  • Real Responsibility: You’ll be trusted with meaningful work, not just observation
  • Supportive Culture: Learn in a no‑blame environment where questions are encouraged
  • Office‑Based Team: You’ll work alongside experienced people who want you to succeed
  • Clear Structure: A proper Level 3 qualification alongside practical experience
  • Career Progression: Successful apprentices have real opportunities to progress into permanent roles across the business

This is about building a career, not just completing a course.

Who This Is For

This role would suit someone who:

  • Is organised, dependable, and takes pride in doing things properly
  • Enjoys learning and wants to understand why things are done, not just how
  • Is comfortable working in an office environment, in person, as part of a team
  • Has good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Wants long‑term stability and progression, not short‑term fixes

You don’t need experience — we’ll teach you.
You do need the right attitude.

The Apprenticeship

  • Level 3 Business / Administration Apprenticeship
  • Combination of on‑the‑job training and structured learning
  • Fully supported with time, guidance, and mentoring

What You’ll Get

  • Paid apprenticeship with structured development
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays (pro‑rata)
  • Christmas shutdown (24th December to New Year)*
  • Pension scheme
  • Private healthcare via Westfield
  • Clear opportunity to secure a permanent role on completion
