Apprentice Marketing Executive

We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Apprentice Marketing Executive to join our team at Centre 4. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in marketing, gaining real hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and campaign delivery, all while working in a supportive and purpose-driven environment.

As part of this apprenticeship, you’ll report directly into our Marketing & Communications Lead, who will support you throughout your journey and help you grow into a confident marketing professional. You’ll work across Centre4’s teams – including Butterflies Day Nursery, 4Youth, Thrive, and more – as well as support campaigns for the wider VCSE (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise) sector in North East Lincolnshire.

We’re looking for someone full of ideas, excited by the power of marketing to make a difference, and confident in communicating messages that resonate with different audiences.

What You’ll Be Doing

Content Creation

  • Create engaging content for social media, websites, and promotional materials
  • Write blog posts, captions, and marketing copy for a range of audiences
  • Design eye-catching graphics, flyers, and brochures using Canva and Adobe tools
  • Support the creation of video content for social platforms

Social Media Management

  • Schedule and monitor posts across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Engage with followers and respond to comments or messages
  • Track analytics and help report on performance and engagement

Campaign Support

  • Assist with delivering marketing campaigns for Centre4 and our community partners, including fundraising initiatives, events, and awareness campaigns
  • Create content for email marketing and newsletters
  • Support strategies that grow brand visibility and audience engagement

Client Communication

  • Work closely with VCSE partners to help communicate their messages clearly and creatively
  • Build confidence in communicating with clients, understanding their needs, and supporting their marketing goals

Market Research & Trends

  • Keep up to date with social and digital marketing trends
  • Spot new opportunities to improve and grow our marketing impact

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine passion for marketing, social media, and content creation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A creative mindset with a good eye for design
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Organised, detail-focused, and self-motivated
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car (travel to projects may be required)

Salary

This role is paid in line with the minimum wage for an apprentice

Working Arrangements

This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, based onsite at Centre 4 in Grimsby. You’ll work closely with our team and be involved in onsite events and activities.
