We’re looking for an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join 7formation, a fast-growing construction company working with major brands like Next, Adidas and BMW.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll learn on the job while supporting our commercial team, including:

• Helping to price projects and prepare tenders
• Getting quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
• Learning how to measure works from drawings and on-site
• Supporting budgets, payments and cost tracking
• Attending site visits across the UK
• Assisting with project reporting and final accounts

You’ll gain real experience from day one, with full support from experienced Quantity Surveyors.

Your apprenticeship journey

You’ll start on:

Construction Quantity Surveying Technician (Cert HE) Higher Apprenticeship – Level 4

• Typically 2 years to complete
• Day release to university (ARU Peterborough)
• Learn core skills in construction, cost management, and project delivery

After successful completion, you can progress onto:

BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying Degree Apprenticeship (Top-Up)

What you’ll learn

You’ll build knowledge in:

• How buildings are designed and constructed
• Health & safety and project management
• Measuring quantities and managing costs
• Contracts, law and commercial awareness
• Digital tools like CAD and BIM

Qualifications:

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English & Maths (Grade 4+)
• A Levels / BTEC or equivalent (or working towards)

Additional:

• A full driving licence (or working towards one) is desirable due to site travel

Important to know
