Job Description

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic artist to lead our Sip & Paint events in Belfast. As the face of easelescape, you will be responsible for curating and enhancing the overall event quality, ensuring that every guest receives an outstanding experience. You will personally guide participants through their painting choices, offering individualised instruction and sharing your expertise in acrylic painting to build their confidence and comfort throughout the event. The ideal candidate will not only be experianced in acrylic painting but also possess excellent interpersonal skills and a keen eye for detail, as you will be managing groups of up to 15 participants per session.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead painting sessions for groups of up to 15 participants, providing one-on-one assistance and artistic guidance to each attendee.
  • Maintain strong and clear communication and exhibit exceptional attention to detail.
  • Manage event pace and atmosphere, ensuring a smooth and flawless experience.
  • Keep participants’ glasses topped up throughout the session, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
  • Handle event setup and cleanup, ensuring that all supplies are prepared and the space is tidy before and after the event.
  • Work efficiently under pressure and adapt to the dynamic atmosphere of the event.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in painting, with a portfolio of work.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with individuals or groups.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in customer service or hospitality is highly desirable.
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
  • Friendly, patient, and customer-oriented, with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Flexibility to work according to class schedules, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements

  • We would also be looking for you to host at least 2 events per month, preferably on Saturdays.
  • Candidates must be available to participate in a trial event, which will be supervised by a manager to assess suitability for the role based on interaction, management of the event environment, and artistic guidance provided to participants.
  • Base pay is at a daily rate and will be further assessed upon performance.
  • Training will be provided for successful candidates.
