We work with major production companies and venues across London, providing high-quality, reliable services in fast-paced, high-profile environments.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, flexible, and detail-focused Assistant Cleaning Operations Manager to support the delivery of cleaning services across office contracts and live event venues throughout London.

This is a hands-on operational role where you will be required to attend sites, support live events, and ensure cleaning standards are consistently delivered to specification. You will work closely with the Venue Operations Manager, clients, and on-site teams to maintain service quality in fast-moving and often high-pressure environments.

Schedule

This is a full-time, salaried position based on 40 hours per week. Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is essential, and working hours will vary in line with business and event requirements.

This will include:

  • Weekend working
  • Overnight shifts
  • Early morning and late evening start

Additional hours may be required during peak event periods. Work schedules are managed across the team to ensure a fair and balanced approach, and time off in lieu will be provided where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day delivery of cleaning services across multiple office and event sites
  • Attend and oversee live events, supporting the Venue Operations Manager during service delivery
  • Carry out regular site visits across London to monitor performance and maintain high standards
  • Conduct post-clean inspections to ensure work meets required specifications
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any issues promptly
  • Supervise and support cleaning teams to ensure performance and compliance with standards
  • Assist with planning and coordinating staffing requirements for events and contracts
  • Respond quickly and effectively to last-minute changes or operational challenges
  • Ensure all health & safety procedures and company policies are adhered to
  • Provide regular updates and operational feedback to the Senior Account Manager

Requirements

  • Previous experience within the cleaning industry (essential)
  • Experience managing or supervising teams
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond to changing situations
  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

What We Offer

  • Salary of £32,000-£35,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Company van provided for business use
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) offering confidential wellbeing, financial and mental health support
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Career progression opportunities within a growing operations team
  • Ongoing training and development to support your career growth
  • A varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same
  • Supportive management team with strong operational experience

We are an equal opportunities employer and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace drives innovation and strengthens our ability to serve our community. We are committed to treating all applicants fairly and ensuring equal opportunity regardless of race, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, religion, or background.
