Full job description
We require an enthusiastic and personable HCPC Registered degree educated Podiatrist on a part time self-employed fee-sharing basis two to three days a week for clinics and home visits. There may be an opportunity to add 2 days a week in our hertfordshire clinics to make this post full-time.
part-time:
We are looking for someone two to three full week days and one to two saturday mornings a month in our Stoke Newington branch on a self-employed or employed basis. Additional days may be available in our Hertfordshire branches which would make it a full-time employed post.
The role:
Covering routine, verrucae, musculoskeletal, minor surgery, and Laser for fungal nails patient care you will be a pro-active, keen and reliable individual.
You must have excellent clinical and people skills, be patient focused and diligent with a winning attitude. We are happy to support new graduates and newly qualified applicants and pods with areas of weakness during a period of training to improve skills and knowledge*. We have been mentors for the Royal College of Podiatry for many years and have mentored new graduates many times. Some have remained in employment with us for many years and have become a valuable asset to our diverse team.
We are extremely keen on CPD and encourage further studies, several of our Senior Podiatrists have achieved higher qualifications (MSc and Fellowships) in various specialisms and will be available to support and mentor you. We run an in-house CPD programme which you will be expected to attend and contribute to and is very popular with our team and local practitioners (we welcome other Podiatrists to join us).
We are a friendly team, very high-tech (all of our systems are online and we are mostly paper-free) and totally patient focused. We are particularly keen to hear from experienced msk podiatrists and new graduates with a "can do" attitude.
To apply please send an extensive CV (no one-sided wonders please) by email to us with a covering letter explaining why you think you are the “ideal candidate” and what you will bring to our team.
Earnings:
Self employed earnings are pro-rata estimates of actual current earnings by colleagues, part time fee share associates accumulate according to your patient numbers - if you do just routine podiatry then the earnings will be lower than pods who do minor ops, msk, verruca needling, shockwave, casted orthotics, etc. we are happy to help you learn and upskill over time. If you are full-time employed then you will be salaried, this means you get a fixed salary plus paid holiday, paid CPD (including annual RCOP conference attendance), mileage, pension, etc.

NB average “cut and come-again” is not our ethos, we are looking for good hard-working all-rounders who wish to develop their skills and careers and are willing to help us grow and develop as an organisation; in exchange we offer a great remuneration package which includes access to private pension, CPD, mileage (if employed), etc.
