Full job description
Brinsworth Social Club are extending their opening hours and Kea HR are supporting them in their search for customer focused and reliable individuals to join their bar team.
As a member of the bar team, you must be 18 years old with good customer service skills and be a team player as the bar can get very busy at peak times.
Typical responsibilities may include:
- Welcoming members and guests and building a great rapport;
- Taking and preparing orders for drinks and snacks accurately and efficiently;
- Keeping the bar area clean and tidy;
- Adhering to all alcohol serving regulations;
- Handling cash transactions and operating the cash register.
Skills and Experience:
You must be at least 18 years old as the job involves serving alcohol.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a busy pub/club setting and the ability to change barrels would be a definite advantage.
In addition to the above, we are looking for evidence of the following:
- Familiarity with basic math skills for cash handling purposes;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with members and guests;
- Initiative and common sense; and
- Ability to work on your own but also within a team.
Your working pattern will vary from week to week. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are the busiest days.

Salary: £7.50-£10.50 per hour
