Barista

Want to learn the art of coffee, exceptional customer service, and how to give an award winning smile? Well, then you might just be in the right place!

We are looking for our next barista/s to work at our Herne Bay Railway Station outlet, to help serve our customers in the legendary 'HatHats' way.

The important bits you'll need to know...

• Your location of work will be HatHats Herne Bat Railway Station
• You will be employed on a 0 hour contract. Shifts will be weekday and weekend, (your availability can be discussed at interview stage).
• You will be required to work between 5:30am-4:30pm weekdays, and between 6:30am-3:30pm weekends.
• Must be 18 or above
• This is a permanent contract.
• Your hourly wage will be £11-£13.60 per hour, and will be dependent on your age.
• Full barista training will be provided to make drinks the 'HatHats' way, regardless of prior experience.
• Supervisor shift cover, available

Who is it you’ll be working for...

HatHats Coffee Company was founded by serial entrepreneur Louis Hurst and his wife Lisa, in 2015. HatHats Coffee Company has grown a lot since its start-up days in a vintage Citroen van (‘Hattie’), with there now being eight HatHats sites in Reculver, Canterbury, Whitstable, Herne Bay, Folkestone and Faversham. We are currently planning our next phase of development, as we open more sites and expand our venues and commercial offer.

In-depths of the job...

Your responsibilities as a barista will include:

• Making and serving our hand-crafted drinks
• Clearing and cleaning tables
• Front of house customer service
• Till operation
• Re-stocking products, ensuring that all items are on display correctly
• Ice cream sales on the ice cream bike (within the perimeter of the outlet)
• Producing and submitting content for the HatHats vlog
