Salary: £40,000
Location: Remote - with national travel
Hours: 37.5 hours

About the role:
The Bid Writer will be responsible for ensuring that all activities are completed to Morelife’s expected quality standards and within the appropriate timescales.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborating with senior leaders to define, execute, and evolve the MoreLife bid strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Overseeing the entire bid process, from Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ) and Invitations to Tender (ITT) to technical responses and final submissions, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all stages.
- Conducting thorough market research to understand the competitive landscape and managing tender portals, acting as the primary point of contact for queries and communications.
- Leading internal stakeholders through bid kick-offs, reviews, and approvals, and collaborating across teams (finance, clinical, marketing, HR, operations) to gather inputs and ensure successful bid delivery.
- Managing the bid library, updating pre-written content, and ensuring consistency and quality across bids by reworking existing materials where necessary.
- Ensuring all bid documents adhere to required formatting, quality standards, and compliance with Morelife’s CQC standards, including budget approvals and sign-offs.
- Tracking and managing risks throughout the bid process, resolving complex technical and strategic issues, and coordinating post-award activities, including contract mobilization with central support teams.
- This structure organizes the tasks more succinctly while keeping the core responsibilities intact.
About You:
This is a critical role, requiring the delivery of bids across multiple services and has been created through growth. We are looking for someone who is flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timescales. You therefore must have 3+ years bid writing experience with proven capability in delivering winning, multi-million-pound product/service opportunities.
- 3+ years of bid writing experience, from opportunity identification to project delivery.
- Proven track record in delivering successful bids and ensuring high-quality responses.
- Expertise in developing win strategies, leading commercial discussions, and solution design.
- Experienced in working at CEO/Director level, both internally and externally.
- Strong background in collaborating with Local Authorities (LAs), CCGs, and Government Agencies.
- Clean driving license.
