Full job description
**Signing on bonus available to applicants who apply direct rather than through a recruitment consultant.**
The ideal candidate will be experienced at working in an accountancy practice, well organized and comfortable dealing with financial data and people. This individual will be responsible for overseeing computerised bookkeeping for a variety of clients across multiple industries, processing payroll, company secretarial work and conducting other tasks related to finance. They should be excellent at recording data and have an ability to product clear financial reports.
Responsibilities
- Track expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts and other financial dealings of companies
- Provide regular financial reports (weekly, monthly and yearly)
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable for clients
- Ensure timely processing of payroll
- Prepare VAT returns promptly and advise clients of their liabilities
- Complete confirmation statements at Companies House.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in related field
- Proficient in Xero, Sage 50, receipt bank and Quickbooks plus excel
- Strong organizational and analytical skills Detail oriented

Experience:
- bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred)
- Xero: 4 years (preferred)
