Branch Manager

About Us

Markovitz is a family-run business with nearly 100 years of heritage and rapid growth, We’re now seeking an experienced Branch Manager to join our new Builders & Plumbers Merchants in Sheffield.

The Role

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same - you’ll be responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the branch.

Key Responsibilities

· Deliver excellent customer service to trade and retail customers, both in person and over the phone.

· Ensure that all sales transactions are processed accurately and efficiently using the branch systems.

· Assist and oversee stock management, receiving deliveries, checking goods, and keeping displays organised.

· Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming branch environment.

· Work collaboratively with colleagues both in branch and at other depots to meet branch and company targets and ensure smooth day-to-day running.

Skills & Experience

· Previous management or high level sales experience in a builders’ merchant or plumbers’ merchant or similar environment.

· Good understanding and knowledge of building and plumbing products.

· Strong customer service and communication skills.

· Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

· Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
