Job Opportunity: Brand & Content Creator

Location: Doncaster
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Working pattern: Office-based with regular site visits

Give a voice to the heavy engineering sector.

At Excel Resourcing, we support the UK’s HGV and PSV fleets by supplying specialist engineering expertise to major operators, manufacturers, and OEMs. Much of our work happens behind the scenes but it’s important, technical, and worth telling properly.

We’re now looking for a Brand & Content Creator to help us turn real engineering work into compelling brand stories.

The role

This role is about brand storytelling, not stock imagery or generic posts.

You’ll take ownership of how Excel Resourcing is seen externally — capturing real projects, real people, and real engineering work, then turning that into clear, engaging content across our platforms.

You’ll plan your own content, arrange site visits independently, and create from scratch.

What you’ll be doing

  • Owning the brand voice and storytelling of Excel Resourcing
  • Creating authentic photo, video, and written content
  • Visiting depots and workshops to capture engineering work on site
  • Turning technical projects into engaging stories, case studies, and posts
  • Managing and growing our social media presence (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Working closely with the wider team to align content with business activity

What we’re looking for

You don’t need to be an engineer, but you do need to be confident telling technical stories.

  • Experience creating content (video, photography, written)
  • Comfortable using Adobe Creative Cloud or similar tools
  • Able to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Confident engaging with engineers, clients, and site teams
  • Practical, organised and commercially aware
  • Based within a commutable distance of Doncaster
