We are OJE Studios. A film, photo and music production company based in Scotland. Headquartered in Dundee for our music production site and our film/photo production based in Edinburgh, we serve nationwide. Operating since June 2023, we are a relatively new company and just entering the Scottish market.

We are seeking a diligent and organized individual to join our team as a Business Administrator. As an integral part of our company, the Administrator will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our business. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Please note that this role is a zero-hour contract role, and we cannot guarantee any hours. This role is great for students or those looking for a little bit of money on the side.

We are also looking for those within Edinburgh, as you may be asked to travel around during production shoots or to meet up with potential clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and/or enquiries from customers and clients for new bookings and existing customers.
  • Coordinate incoming jobs for Internal Film Production employees, ensuring timely assignment and completion.
  • Monitor our internal job board multiple times a week to identify relevant job opportunities.
  • Take detailed notes during important meetings, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Make B2B calls for internal purposes, such as ordering new items, conducting research, and facilitating communication with suppliers or partners.
  • Assist with additional paperwork, including data entry, filing, and document preparation, within reason.
  • Perform other generic administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the company.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and workload.
  • Familiarity with basic office equipment and procedures.
  • Experience in an administrative role or similar position is a plus, not required.

Pay Structure:
Due to the nature of this role, we will pay out any holiday pay you accumulate for the hours you work. This is marked as 12.07% of your hourly rate. We will pay you the following amount depending on your age group:

16-17 years old - £7.50 per hour + £0.91 Holiday Pay + Commission
18-20 years old - £9.50 per hour + £1.15 Holiday Pay + Commission
21 years old and above - £11.50 per hour + £1.39 Holiday Pay + Commission

All pay is subject to National Insurance and Income Tax.
