JOB PURPOSE

Are you a dynamic, results-driven sales professional? We're expanding our Business Development team and looking for talented individuals like you!

As a Business Development Associate, you'll be the driving force behind our growth. Your mission: identify new business opportunities, self-source leads, and showcase how Welcomm can transform prospective clients' businesses.

Your innovative mindset, sharp analytical skills, and stellar communication will be key in spotting and seizing opportunities to boost revenue. You'll tackle exciting challenges, from project management and strategic planning to negotiation and relationship building.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate strong leads and prospective new business opportunities.
  • Liaise with a variety of colleagues to ensure quotes and customer support are accurate and timely.
  • You will be someone who is able to quickly build rapport with prospective customers by actively listening to identify customer needs and be a trusted advisor, proposing solutions to benefit the customer.
  • Meet with potential customers face-to-face and on Teams to secure and maximise all new business opportunities.
  • Nurture relationships with prospective and newly onboarded customers and using a consultative approach to understand and meet their business needs.
  • Manage your own diary effectively, to ensure all open opportunities are accounted for and up to date.
  • Utilise your existing sales knowledge and expertise to drive your performance and meet set KPI’s.

ABOUT YOU

Essential:

  • A ‘hunter’ mentality with proven experience in New Business Sales and a passion for winning new business and closing deals.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to independently prioritise and multi-task.
  • Confident and influential communicator.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Positive, proactive, and professional.
  • Full clean UK driving licence with the ability to travel within the UK, including overnight stays where necessary.

Desirable:

  • It would be an added bonus if you had experience of the IT, fixed line or mobile industry and be conversant with CRM systems.
