Business Development Consultant (Vehicle Contract Hire & Leasing)

OTE of £40K + (Uncapped) Comprises of Competitive Basic + Commission + Car + Benefits

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Consultant to join a privately owned leasing and fleet management company. You’ll be working full time on a permanent basis and will be met with a competitive basic + company car, uncapped commission and 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, we have a position in our Derby office.

The role

An opportunity to build your own portfolio of SME’s leasing business vehicles within a designated sales territory. Candidates with a will to succeed can expect ongoing support and high earning potential. Day to day duties will include:

Building a prospect / client database and maintaining via CRM.
Prospecting – Cold calling by phone, face to face, e mail and other channels with a view to creating sales opportunities and appointments.
Visiting prospects / clients to promote vehicle contract hire solutions.
Writing sales proposals and generating quotations.

What you’ll need

B2B sales background ideally with some automotive experience.
Excellent written, oral communication and IT skills.
To be likeable.
Strong desire to succeed.
Live within commuting distance of Derby.
