We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and motivated Office Administration Assistant to join the growing team at Bonnie Escapes.

This is a varied and fast-paced role within a busy holiday home and property management business, so we are looking for someone who is confident multitasking, able to work under pressure when required, and happy to support across all aspects of office administration and operations.

Office Administration Assistant

Location: Dumfries & Galloway
Hours: Minimum 16–20 hours per week
(Flexibility for additional hours for the right candidate)
Rate of Pay: £14.50 per hour

About the Role

The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day running of a busy office environment and support the Director with a wide range of administrative and operational duties.

This role would suit someone with previous office administration experience, ideally within holiday home rentals, hospitality, tourism, travel, or property management.

We are looking for someone highly motivated, enthusiastic, and willing to grow with the business, with genuine opportunities for career progression for the right person.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assisting with payroll preparation and administration
  • Staff rota support and scheduling assistance
  • Invoicing and payment administration
  • Logging VAT receipts and maintaining accurate records
  • General office administration duties
  • Assisting with guest and owner communications when required
  • Supporting booking administration and calendar management
  • Assisting with weekend out-of-hours call cover on a rota basis
  • Providing administrative support directly to the Director
  • Assisting with any other reasonable duties required within the business

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and general office systems
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently in a busy environment
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure when required
  • Confident communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional, flexible, and approachable manner

Desirable Experience

  • Experience using BrightHR
  • Experience with SuperControl booking systems
  • Understanding of iCal calendar systems
  • Previous experience within the travel, tourism, holiday home rental, hospitality, or property management industries
  • Payroll or accounts administration experience
  • Driving licence preferred
