Hot Numbers Coffee Ltd is a vibrant and independent coffee roasting business serving fresh and exciting food at our three busy cafés in Cambridgeshire. Our Roastery Café in Shepreth is also the base for our commercial bakery and pizzeria.
We are looking for an experienced and efficient individual to join us as a Supervisor of our Front Of House team at our Gwydir Street Cafe .
Main Duties and Skills:
· Managing day-to-day operations of the Café when Manager is off
· Stock management and ordering
· Ensure completion of daily and weekly jobs, such as cleaning
· Set up and close down shop (opens and closes)
· Command strong leadership while working closely with management
Person Specification:
· Ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication skills
· Strong work experience as a barista
· Ability to manage tasks and delegate to the team
· Works well on own initiative with the confidence and ability to contribute to the improvement of our processes
· Passion and enthusiasm for customer service
· Enthusiastic and engaged with an ability to cope under pressure
· Punctual, committed, and self-motivated
· Understands and able to implement good hygiene and health & safety
· Flexible with working with evening availability

Availability and hours of work: The successful applicant would be looking to dedicate at least 6 months to the role due to our employee onboarding training program here at Hot Numbers. Unfortunately if you have plans to travel or study this role is not for you. This role would be based on a 32 hour contact. You will be required to have weekend and evening availability to cover our evening events.
Employment: Your starting pay will be reviewed with successful completion of a 3-month probationary period within your role.
Hourly Rate: £12.10
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £12.10 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
