Cake Baker

MS Bakery is seeking a skilled and passionate Cake Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing a variety of baked goods, ensuring high standards of quality and food safety are maintained throughout the process. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a crucial role in delighting our customers with fresh, delicious products. The average shift pattern is 5 days a week - 9 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a wide range of products including cakes & desserts.
• Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in flavour and presentation.
• Monitor the baking process to ensure products are cooked to perfection.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
• Assist in the planning and development of new recipes and menu items.
• Manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Skills

• Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and production.
• Proficient in baking techniques and methods.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• A creative mindset with a passion for developing new recipes.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery environment is advantageous.
