Health Care Assistant(Female driver only)

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents in a care home setting. Duties

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
• Follow individual care plans to ensure that each resident's needs are met effectively.
• Communicate regularly with residents to provide companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff.
• Support residents in participating in social and recreational activities within the care home.
• Ensure that the environment is safe, clean, and welcoming for all residents.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall quality of care provided.

Requirements

• Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with residents and colleagues.
• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate compassionately with residents and their families.
• Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation as required.
• A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential community outreach activities or transport needs.
• A caring attitude, patience, and a willingness to learn are essential qualities for this role.
