Care Support Worker

We are delighted to advertise the positions of Care Support Worker within our Community Support team, based at our Bentley Heath site (B93 8PE) supporting adults with a range of needs including learning disabilities and mental health conditions. This role involves working with individuals across a broader age range, promoting dignity, independence, and purpose

Pay & Benefits

  • £12.21 per hour (weekdays)
  • 12.5% premium per hour for weekends and bank holidays
  • £0.45 per mile travel reimbursement + paid travel time
  • Automatic enrolment into the People Pension scheme (Trust: 3%, Tax: 1%, Employee: 4%)
  • Annual leave: 22 days + 8 bank holidays (pro rata), rising to 25 days after 3 years

Requirements

  • A DBS check that does not highlight issues preventing you from working with vulnerable adults (we'll cover the costs)
  • A full driving licence
  • Access to your own vehicle
  • Business insurance that allows you to transport clients
  • Right to Work in the UK (sadly, we are unable to offer sponsorship)
  • Compassion for adults with learning disabilities, dementia, and mental health problems
  • Willingness to work overtime during busy periods

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
