Caretaker, Cleaning & Facilities Support

Chevin Golf Club – Derbyshire
Hours: 20 hours per week
Salary: Dependent on experience

Chevin Golf Club is a well-established members’ golf club set in the Derbyshire countryside. We are looking to recruit a reliable and conscientious Caretaker to work alongside our existing cleaner, providing cover during days off and supporting higher-level cleaning and general upkeep of the clubhouse and facilities.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working in support of the club’s cleaner, including providing cover during holidays and days off
• Carrying out high-level and deep cleaning tasks across the clubhouse
• Maintaining cleanliness in changing rooms, toilets, bar, and communal areas
• Ensuring all areas are well-presented for members, visitors, and events
• Assisting with maintenance and minor repairs
• Monitoring and reporting any cleaning, maintenance, or health & safety issues
• Supporting occasional event setup and breakdown

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous cleaning or caretaking or maintenance experience essential
• High attention to detail and strong standards of cleanliness
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently when required
• Comfortable working early mornings and weekends
• Basic maintenance or DIY skills essential
