Full job description
Jobs Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced cat lover to run operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for animal care, ensuring that both staff and animals receive the highest level of support and attention. This role requires a blend of customer service expertise and the ability to manage daily operations effectively.
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
- Ensure all animals are treated with compassion and respect.
- Manage customer service interactions, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Coordinate schedules for staff and resources, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Implement health and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of animal care, and operational procedures.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on best practices in animal care and customer service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably within an animal care or veterinary setting.
- Hold a level 2 in feline Care and behaviour qualification or higher.
- Strong understanding of animal behaviour and care requirements.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and organised environment for both staff and animals.
- We would increase wages if you hold more qualifications, ideally any veterinary experience
