Full job description
Role Summary:
To work as part of a small but dynamic office-based team, primarily responsible for the administration and provision of customer service at the Health & Wellbeing Innovation Centre in Cornwall managed by University of Plymouth on behalf of Cornwall Council.
Primary responsibilities
Ensure paper and electronic filing processes are maintained, customers are invoiced for all services provided, suppliers are managed effectively, and invoices are processed for payment.
Manage the Centre’s credit control process effectively in conjunction with the University Finance team ensuring all debt is handled efficiently, escalating to departments and agencies as and when appropriate.
Co-ordinate onboarding and induction of customers to the Innovation Centre, setting up customer accounts, arranging IT and providing starter information packs.
To co-ordinate and manage the Licence Agreement signing process for both new and existing customers and maintain records of all Licence Agreement renewals. Liaise with Business Development Manager as to actions required.
Respond to customer issues and queries whilst ensuring they are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
Under the guidance of the Operations Manager, liaise with contractors to organise routine maintenance and dilapidation works ensuring any agreements are in place and reports are checked and filed electronically.
Organise and carry out regulatory checks and tests to ensure buildings comply with all relevant Health & Safety regulations maintaining full-service history records.
Co-ordinate customer exits arranging final check out meetings. Initiate the closing down of open accounts, organise the return of deposits and raise final invoices.
To supervise centre staff as required ensuring efficient Centre operation and cover of Reception as required.
You will be able to demonstrate high levels of customer service either in an existing or previous role
This is a permanent contract position working 37.5 hours per week Mon-Fri.
