We have some exciting opportunities for chefs of all levels to join the team at our beautiful hotel in Thorpe Bay, Essex. This thriving hotel is proudly located on Thorpe Esplanade with panoramic views of the Estuary in each of our dining rooms.

Roslin Beach Hotel is an AA 4 Silver Star hotel with a multi award-winning Two AA Rosette Restaurant that is recognised across the country. The Roslin Restaurant is at the heart of our boutique-inspired hotel with our skilful team combining familiar favourites with the freshest seasonal ingredients.

About the role:

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated chefs of all levels to join our hard working and professional kitchen team at the Roslin Beach Hotel. The chef roles will vary in tasks dependent on level of experience, but please get in touch to find out more.

What we would like from you:

• Working effectively within the Kitchen team to ensure high level of service standards.
• Excellent knowledge of food hygiene standards, checking that all food is stored and used in rotation to eliminate wastage and adhere to the Health and Hygiene Laws.
• More senior level chef roles will assist with stocktaking, management of kitchen hygiene, food storage and supervising.
• Following close down procedure at the end of shift to ensure safety of equipment and security of produce is maintained.
• Excellent communication skills and enjoy working as a team.
• Advantageous to have an NVQ Level 2/3 in Food production or any other related culinary skills qualification.
• At least 1 years’ experience working in a kitchen within hospitality preferably a hotel or restaurant.
