Are you ready to join one of Sussex's most vibrant pub companies? Look no further! We're seeking a talented Chef de Partie to join our team at Good Times Pubs & Bars on a part-time basis.

As Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations, supporting the senior chefs in crafting culinary creations that delight our customers. You'll be able to showcase your creativity and expertise while ensuring the highest food quality and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior chefs to develop and execute menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
  • Oversee the kitchen's day-to-day operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
  • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Lead and motivate junior members of the kitchen team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Support with inventory management and control food costs to maximise profitability.
  • Assist in training and developing junior kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and quality in all dishes.
  • Uphold Good Times Pubs & Bars' food quality standards, portion control, and presentation.
  • Support the senior chefs in menu planning, recipe development, and special events.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie preferably in a British gastro pub
  • Fluent in English
  • Passion for food and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Right to work in the UK
