About us

Highway Plant is a small family-run business providing plant machinery to local sites. We have been operating for over 55 years from our site in Redruth, Cornwall.

We seek a skilled Class 2 HGV licenced driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting plant machinery safely and efficiently to designated locations.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 7.45am - 4.45pm.

Your duties will include:

- Driving a lorry to transport plant machinery in Cornwall/Devon

- Load and unload plant machinery using appropriate equipment

- Follow safety procedures and regulations

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance

Must have:

- A clean Class 2 HGV licence with up to date CPC training

Preferred, but not essential:

- Experience of loading/unloading plant

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.00 per hour
